Dog Food Recipe: Kale Frittatas


Kale may be all the rage in the food world, but I love kale for its assertive taste and nutritional profile.   • A medium-sized pile of kale or purple cabbage (about 8 leaves), cut into small, bite-sized pieces
  • Splash of olive oil
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • 6 eggs
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup grated cheese (recommended: cheddar cheese and some parmesan)


1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.

3. Whisk eggs and milk in a medium-sized mixing bowl. Stir in the cheese and kale. Use a large spoon to pour the mixture into each of the muffin bowls and fill them about halfway.

4. Bake for 18 minutes or until the frittatas are lightly golden.
