It would be quite fun and maybe even exciting for many of us pet parents to wake up in our bed with an unfamiliar dog. But not for Mia, who was a bit tipsy the night before and is quite nervous with most dogs.
It was a bit of a “frill” morning for her when she woke up to find a large “wolf-like” dog next to her in her own bed, not remembering how or why it was there.
But luckily for Mia and the lost dog, we live in the digital age. Although she drank numerous glasses of wine, she recorded the events of the previous evening on her cell phone and was able to put her night together.
“I went to my friend’s house to help her with handicrafts and painting. Then we decided that three bottles of wine was a good idea, ”says Mia.
On her way home she met the handsome husky for the first time. He was alone and seemed to follow her as she walked down the sidewalk. Mia recorded how she talked to the camera and explained that a “full-fledged wolf” was following her. The video shows him walking next to her as she walks to her house.
Not only did she not remember meeting or being brought home by the knightly dog, but she also had no memory of coming home in the middle of the night and talking to her mother.
“My mother was angry. She was in bed when I came in apparently at 2:30 in the morning and told her I had a new partner, ”Mia confessed.
Amusing footage from the morning shows Mia talking to the camera about how she was “petrified to move about in her own bed”. Then she waves to the husky, who is lazily lying next to her. Mia may have felt uncomfortable, but the husky certainly seemed calm and content.
“I was a little shocked when I woke up hungover and a dog stared at me. I was petrified, he was going to attack me. I think dogs are cute, but they’re also a little bit scary. Especially a damn big one, ”says Mia.
After Mia checked her phone and put her night together, she called the phone number listed on its label. But there was no answer. So she wrote on several social media sites for help in finding the lost dog’s owner.
“The owner said all the tears of losing him were worth it when she added me on Snapchat to see my story. She thought it was funny. She was grateful that he stayed at my house. I’m glad he’s home safe and sound. “
It turned out that he lived down the street and his mother was completely insane because of his absence. Through the power of social media, she was able to reconnect the puppy with its mother. On her way home and in the morning, Mia called the husky “Toby” but it turned out that his name was actually “Gunner”. Her impromptu slumber party didn’t seem to affect her pet parenting plans, but she was very glad the puppy was able to be reunited with its mother.
“Of all the things I came home with in one evening,” Mia mused.
